Algebra:

Pre-Algebra: No math class today.

Homework - Pink Paper Week #7 due Monday, November 16.

Language Arts: Students were introduced to the Research Paper Guidelines and also completed a Google Form to help determine interests which may be good research topics. Topic selection sheets are due Thursday, November 12 and we will work on them in class this week.

Reading: Students will listen to chapter 20 of Prairie Lotus and write a gist statement. They will work on a comma & vocab assessment.

Science: Students worked on analyzing their data from Friday. They rewrote their information into a final data table, figured out the Tangent angles (using the tangent chart) and calculated the 9 launch heights. Students also began their Independent vs. Dependent Variable packet due on Wednesday.

U.S. History: 1)Finish American Revolution video and note-taking worksheet. 2)Watch my video and slide presentation, 3) Timeline Activity.

Algebra:

Pre-Algebra: Students worked on the Rotations Packet and checked their work. Then students completed the Rotations of Shapes Worksheet.

Homework - Transformations Worksheet due tomorrow. Pink Paper Week #7 due Monday, November 16.

Language Arts: Students will work on funneling topics / interests down to a research topic. Topic selection sheets are due at the end of class on Thursday, November 12.

Reading: Students will listen to chapter 21 and do a gist statement. Read The Perfects

Science: No science class today!

U.S. History: Complete Timeline Activity and submit. Map Activity on Google docs is due tomorrow.

Algebra:

Pre-Algebra: Students took notes on Sequencing Transformations (8.2 Lesson 4) and worked on the Sequencing Transformations Worksheet.

Homework - Pink Paper Week #7 due Monday, November 16.

Language Arts: Students completed a reading assignment on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the unique tradition that has started there. Students also worked on a question to answer with their research topic. Topic selection sheets are due at the end of class on Thursday, November 12.

Reading: No reading today

Science: Students worked to write their rough draft Water Rocket protocol, had them critiqued by a peer and completed their final drafts for homework. Variable packets due tomorrow!

Pre-Algebra: Students took notes on Dilations (8.2 Lesson 5) and practiced dilating figures and determining scale factors on the Dilations Worksheet (to be completed as homework if not done in class).

Homework - Pink Paper Week #7 due Monday, November 16.

Transformations Quiz on Wednesday, November 18

Language Arts: Students will complete topic selection sheets and turn in by the end of the day.

Reading: Students will listen to chapter 22 and do a gist statement. Intro to point of view and students complete google form on pov. They will read their independent books and fill out a row in their logs

Science: Students began their designs for the Water Rocket Packaging and should continue working on for homework.

Pre-Algebra: Students worked on the Dilations Packet, then the Transformation Study Guide to prepare for their quiz on Wednesday.

Reading: Students will listen to chapter 23 and do a gist statement. They will read their independent books and fill out a row in their logs

Science: Students finished working on their packaging to submit to Ms. Mack by the end of class.

U.S. History:
