Unit 2: Product Development

This unit will last approximately 15 class periods. Unit 2 covers chapters 30 and 31 from your Marketing Essentials textbook.

Goal

Students will be able to understand the concepts and strategies needed to obtain, develop, maintain, and improve a product or service mix in response to market opportunities.

Students will learn all aspects of product development. There will also be a focus on managing their branding image throughout a product’s lifecycle.

Assignments
