This learning resource is designed to be used by 5-7 year olds (Key stage 1 pupils) during and after a trip to Harcourt Arboretum. The children work towards posting a parcel to Paddington's Aunt Lucy. They include their own artwork (inspired by nature and the environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy) and videos showing things they have found out about. In return they receive the following letter:

Dear Children,

Thank you very much for my parcel. I really enjoyed looking at everything you sent me from your trip to Harcourt Arboretum. I wish I could have visited with you.

I loved looking at all your nature inspired artwork. I've hung some of it up on my bedroom wall so I can look at it daily. When I watched your videos it felt like I was actually there with you. It looked like you had a wonderful time finding different types of trees. I am glad you found a tree from where I came from. The Monkey Puzzle was one of Uncle Pastuzo's favourite trees to climb. Your picnic looked marvelous, especially the marmalade sandwiches.

Yours sincerely,

Aunt Lucy
