Whether it be sports, music, or an after school club, when we get home from school later than usual, it can be hard to be on top of homework/projects. If you know you are busy on certain days of the week, you need should do extra work on the days where you are not very busy. If you do more work on days with more time, you will have more time to focus on one or two subjects on those exhausting days where you are busy after school!
If you poorly distribute your work, you will be in trouble when those days come around where you have a long day at school as well as a after school activity. When you get back home from that after school activity you will already be drained and doing hours of homework will not help. Unfortunately, you will likely lose sleep staying up to do your work as well.
Keeping a consistent schedule can be helpful when you are done with the after school activity. Knowing how to manage your time and work is key to a success in school. For example, if you put 30 minutes into one subject, 45 minutes into another, eat dinner, and shower you should be in good shape to get good sleep and be refreshed for the next day of school.
