Humanities may feel a bit harder to structure or organize notes for. You may be asked to sort and categorize information on your own and look for patterns that you will have to define. Always take notes! Remember that if you write something down you will be far more likely to remember it.

Student Advice:
ALWAYS TAKE NOTES!
Even if you have no idea what is going on, copy down everything the teacher writes and says
You can reference what you wrote in class to try and figure it out later
You can bring the notes to the teacher after class to ask for clarification
They might be happier to help you if they see that you were making an effort in class and taking notes
Teachers usually notice when they see students taking notes! It can go a long way, especially when the rest of the class isn’t paying attention

easily cut, copy and move sections of handwritten text
