2023 Golf Scramble

BSCEF Golf Scramble 

The 2023 Golf Scramble was held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Brockway Golf Course. At 9:00 a.m. 18 teams took to the greens to find a champion of the 2nd Brockway Schools and Community Education Foundation Golf Scramble. 

Many donations were made to this tournament to make it yet again another successful fundraiser for the foundation. The foundation received 32 hole sponsors at $100.00 a piece and 7 corporate sponsors that were $500.00 a piece. The foundation also offered a 50/50, 20 Chinese auction baskets received throughout the community, a chance at a 60 ft. putt for $2,500.00 in cash, and a hole in one option to win a cruise. While no one hit the hole in one for the cruise we did have two aces on the day. Fabio Fortunato and Elliott Gelfand both had a hole in one on number 8. The winning team came in at -9 with second place being at -8 followed by the third place team at -7. 

We as the foundation are thankful to all donors, golfers, volunteers, and to the Brockway Golf Course for making this a very special day for everyone while accomplishing our goal of raising money for the students here at Brockway Schools. The golf outing offered an opportunity for former, current & future Superintendents to spend the day together.
