On Friday the Thirteenth of October the STEM club went to the Science Museum in Central London to look into our topic of 'Space'.
All of us were put into pairs and were given a page of 44 questions to keep us occupied.
At the end we watched an IMAX movie that was in 3D and it was voiced by the world renowned actor Jennifer Lawrence it was an interesting documentary about people who went to the international space station it talked about what they did in space, they have to work out a lot or their bones will weaken. They have have a little room with a window which they look out from to see most of the problems in the world for example droughts and storms and from that height they can see storms and things like that
In the Science Museum we found out a lot of interesting facts and we found out the first man in space was Yuri Gagarin and the first man on the moon was Neil Armstrong with Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins . Also we found out that in space they can only eat solid foods and drink things from little bags and instead of having a toilet they have things like diapers which they do their urine and poo in and they use their toilet waste for other things. Such as their urine ; they filter it into water however we are not quite sure about their, you know, 'number 2' we call it.
