Hardware Requirements*
Operating system-
Windows 11
MacOS 13 (Ventura) or newer
We do not currently accept Chromebooks
8GB of RAM minimum.
Storage space- minimum 5GB of free space to install our programs.
A modern CPU (4 core)-
If you are purchasing a refurbished computer, please keep in mind that it may be outdated and unsuitable for use. Older CPUs will decline in performance when faced with demands of modern software. They also may be nearing or surpassed their end-of-life driver support, which can cause software to no longer function properly.
When shopping, we recommend doing a google search of the CPU. It should take you to a specification page for the CPU that contains the generation and/or date of release.
Here are a few broad standards for common CPUs-
Intel Core- 8th generation or newer (August 2017)
AMD- Ryzen 2nd gen or later (April 2018)
Apple Silicon (M1 and up)
Please note that we do not support Bluetooth/wireless devices (this includes headsets, mouse, keyboards, etc.).
Other Recommendations
1080P Display (also called FHD).
SATA (or preferably Nvme Solid State Drives (SSD)) for the boot device.
