Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment College Courses are offered at Brimfield High School through ICC and Western Illinois University. To see the full list of courses offered, go to the 'High School Classes' tab.

Work-Based Learning Programs are offered at Brimfield High School and not only provide high school credit towards graduation but also give the students a hands-on learning experience in a career field they may be interested in.

Dual Credit Courses

Dual-credit courses are offered to high school students to take online or on BHS campus (list below).
Online courses are taught by ICC professors. You will not have a choice of what professor you want and you may not know who your professor is until the first day of class.
The high school has a contract with the college, all fees are listed on Skyward and paid through the school office.

How to Enroll:

Meet with the counselor to determine which classes would be the best fit
Start your ICC Application online at icc.edu
Sign up for the Accuplacer Test (testing information will be announced)
Once you have received confirmation from Ms. Ross that you are enrolled in class, you must log into your accounts!
1. MyICC
  - Complete the tasks listed
2. CANVAS
  - Verify you can log into the classroom
3. ICC email account
  - Access your college email account (you cannot access this email from your school chromebook)

Dual Enrollment

Dual-enrollment courses are offered to high school students to take online or on WIU campus.
Online courses are taught by WIU professors. You will not have a choice of what professor you want and you may not know who your professor is until the first day of class.
The high school does NOT have a contract with the university, all fees are sent to student and parent and paid through your WIU account.
Online DE course fees will start at approximately $341 (⅓ cost of regular WIU courses)
Your grade will be documented on both a WIU transcript and high school transcript.
- Receiving an “Incomplete - I” or “Late Withdrawal - W” for your WIU course(s) will result in an “F” on your BHS transcript

Work Based Learning (WBL) Programs

2026-2027 Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Application deadlines will be in 'Announcements' and shared on social media platforms (deadline expected in February/March 2026). See Ms. Ross if you have any questions or interest in the WBL programs.

Construction Careers (full year) - application deadline in February

Tuition only is covered by PERFECT program. This program will require students to drive to new locations within Peoria County weekly for classes and training. Locations can include Peoria, Morton, Washington, Pekin and so on.

Semester 1 - Students will get an introduction each week to a new trade.

Semester 2 - Students will choose a trade they are interested in and focus on learning that specific trade with a local business.

Certified Nursing Assistant (choose Fall or Spring semester) - application deadline in February

Tuition only is covered by PERFECT program. Textbook fee may apply. Course is on ICC Peoria North Campus (University St.).

Students will train as a CNA and, if qualified. be given the option to take the certification exam at the completion of the course.

Certified Pharmaceutical Assistant (choose Fall or Spring semester) - application deadline in February

Tuition only is covered by PERFECT program. Textbook fee may apply. Semester length course is online.

Students will complete all online coursework and continue with internship hours scheduled at a local UnityPoint Health Pharmacy.

Emergency Medical Services (full year) - application deadline in February/March

Tuition, uniform, and textbook fees will apply. Student will be required to drive to the Peoria and/or East Peoria ICC Campus daily.
