The Rubber Grip Board is a skateboard deck that has a tail cover in lines and shreds of rubber bands. It also has artwork on the middle of the board and on the nose. Its main purpose is to either be used as decoration or used as a trampoline board, which is a board with no wheels used on a trampoline. It’s used as a trampoline board because you can still grip with it, but it doesn’t tear your socks as normal grip tape does.
My invention works because I super glued rubber bands onto the board and the purpose of these rubber bands is to protect your socks when you trampoline skate. The art style is a pepper-type rubber band grip on the nose of the board and a smiley face on the tail. This gives grip while also looking rather nice.
My invention uses rubber bands to give the grip of normal grip tape while protecting your socks. It’s also used for a lot of the art and style on the board. This process was especially hard because the board had a dip in the middle of it and I couldn’t do what I originally wanted to do, which was line the whole board with rubber bands horizontally. This would prove too troublesome and get as much glue on my fingers to the point I couldn’t feel from my fingertips.
People could benefit from my invention because it takes away the need for shoes when you trampoline board. It looks nice so you could hang it on your wall when you’re finished. If you wear shoes on a trampoline it could rip it and get it dirty so it protects your trampoline and your feet
