Wind Ensemble

The BRHS Wind Ensemble is the premiere performing ensemble in the band program at Broad Run. This is an audition-only group and the auditions take place in the spring of the previous school year. Students in this ensemble have high expectations to prepare music properly prior to rehearsal, play tougher graded music and must be willing to learn an in-depth amount of music theory while in this class. Wind Ensemble may be taken as an Honors level or Academic level course. There are limited number of spots for each instrument in this ensemble.

If you are moving into Broad Run after spring auditions, please let Mr. Blanks know if you want to audition for this group. Auditioning does not guarantee admission into Wind Ensemble.
