Google Drive

Google Drive is a cloud based storage system. Put simply, your files are stored on Google's servers and accessed via the internet. This gives Google Drive it's key benefit - accessibility. You can access your files on any internet enabled device. As a G Suite for Education user you have unlimited storage and, as the files are stored remotely, you do not have to worry about using up storage space on your iPad or home PC / laptop. It is worth noting that files are not backed up to the School's servers at this present time. Anything that you delete, even in error, will be gone for good within 30 days. To create a backup of your Google account, try using Google Takeout, please only do this on a School PC to avoid any confidential data being transferred to a personal device. Again, there is a challenge sheet and video tutorials to support those looking to develop their knowledge of Google Drive.
