Message From Our Principal - Sam Cameron
Hello Crownhill Families,
In my 12 years in education, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of students, families, and communities. In that time, it has always been my experience that every student grows, and eventually thrives, when they feel a sense of belonging, trust, connection and support from their school. In order for students to truly dive into their passions, explore curiosities, and master challenging skills, they must be comfortable in their environment first. We pride ourselves at Crownhill in the community and connection that exists between our students, staff and families. By providing an environment of support and belongingness, I believe that all students can learn with high expectations. I believe that strong relationships, a healthy school environment, high learning expectations and engaging, relevant curriculum are the cornerstones of a successful educational approach. At Crownhill, we take pride in our community and celebrate our learners daily.

At Crownhill Elementary we have House system where all of our students and staff are assigned to a house. In our houses our staff and students are able to get to know and build relationships with students across all grade levels, learn new roles and skills, and earn house points.
