Late Work Policy & Procedure

All teachers expect students to complete work on time.  When there are exceptional circumstances, students may turn work in late within 5 school days of the original due date. Students wishing to submit late work, revisions, or make-up work are expected to follow these steps:

1. Speak with the teacher as soon as possible after the original due date has passed.

2. Meet with the teacher to establish a Late Work Agreement.  The Late Work Agreement is a plan for how and when the student will complete the assignment(s) and avoid late work in the future. (Print a late work agreement HERE or below - digital requests will not be approved - printed requests only)

3. Attend any Knight Academy or after-school tutorial sessions as identified in the Late Work Agreement.

4. Turn the assignment(s) in by the agreed-upon date, no later than 5 days after the original due date.
