Hi y'all, my name is Miss Yates and I teach first graders here at Polk. This is my 8th year teaching and it has all been here in Room 12!

I'm ready to make this my best year yet!

I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Sam Houston State University in 2014.

I am a dog mom of 2. Believe it or not, they're from the same litter!

I have an indoor succulent garden with over 30 different types!
