Goals & Reading Team

Each 9 weeks, your child will have an AR point goal. This goal is created specifically for each student and every student should meet their 9 week goal. Students who meet their goal will get a reward at the end of the 9 weeks. Students who go above and beyond their 9 week goals have a chance to make the Polk Reading Team! Students who get 50 AR points, and have a test average of 80% or higher, will make the reading team! Reading team members get a free T-shirt and they will attend a big party honoring their success at the end of the year. Students can earn a different Reading Team shirt each year they make the Reading Team.
