Grades

Our district uses a skills based grading scale for first grade. The scale consists of a 1, 2, or 3 for each skill.  

1= Your child is showing mastery of the skill

2= Your child SOMETIMES shows mastery

3= Your child is struggling with this skill.

Most skills are assessed all year long. If they do not master it in the beginning of the year, they will still have more chances to continue growing and practicing until mastery.

Grades will be posted on the following dates:

1st 9 Weeks:
