Dear Brazoswood FFA Members, Families, and Supporters,

Welcome to another exciting year with Brazoswood FFA! I am incredibly honored to serve as your Chapter President and look forward to everything we will accomplish together this year.

Our theme, “Planting Purpose,” represents what we want Brazoswood FFA to be about. Just like a seed needs the right environment to grow, every member deserves a place where they feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to discover their purpose. Whether you grew up around agriculture, have never stepped foot in a barn, compete on an FFA team, raise livestock, enjoy leadership opportunities, or are simply looking for a place to belong, there is a place for you in Brazoswood FFA.

FFA has given me opportunities to grow as a leader, step outside of my comfort zone, build friendships, and experience things I may never have had the chance to do otherwise. As President, one of my biggest goals is to give those same opportunities back to our members. I want every student to have the chance to find something within FFA that challenges them, encourages them, and gives them a place to grow.

This year, we also want to reach beyond the traditional idea of what an FFA member looks like. Agriculture is so much more than farming and livestock, and FFA has opportunities for students with all kinds of interests, talents, and backgrounds. You do not have to come from an agricultural background to find your place here. We want every student who walks through our doors to know that they are welcome, valued, and capable of making an impact within our chapter.

I encourage each of you to take a chance this year. Attend a meeting, join a team, participate in a community service project, meet someone new, or try something outside of your comfort zone. Someone once gave me the opportunity to get involved, grow, and discover what FFA could offer me, and now I hope to help provide that same opportunity for someone else.

Together, we can create a chapter where every member has the opportunity to grow, lead, serve, and find their purpose.
