In the Early Years, Creative Arts offers children with opportunities to investigate different Units of Inquiry and Learner Profile attributes. It encompasses a variety of activities that stimulate children's creativity through music, visual arts, movement, dance, drama, and storytelling. By engaging in these activities, children can improve their skills in various domains, including cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.

The Visual Arts curriculum for Grade 1 - Grade 5 is designed to expose students to a wide rage of mediums including paint, drawing materials, ceramics, sculptural materials, charcoal, collage, fibre arts, and print making. Our young artists focus on process, experimenting to develop new skills, techniques, and their individual unique artistic voices. The units spiral around the Elements of Art; embedding the Principles of Design, Art History, and related concepts from their Units of Inquiry along the way. Throughout their time in the Lower Junior and Upper Junior Art Rooms, students collaborate with their peers, practice open mindedness, grow as global thinkers, make connections with the world around them,  communicate their concepts, learn to express themselves, problem solve, and exercise creativity and innovation.

The Grade 1 to Grade 5 Music curriculum is designed to provide our students with a comprehensive musical education, focusing on performance skills and music literacy. Through a variety of instruments, including keyboards, recorders, and percussion, students gain practical experience and confidence in their ability to create music. At Branksome Hall Asia, we strongly believe in the power of performance. Throughout the academic year, students have the chance to showcase their musical abilities through individual and group performances. These performances not only celebrate their progress but also help them develop valuable skills such as self-expression, stage presence, and collaboration with fellow musicians. By engaging in our Music program, students not only develop their musical abilities but also enhance their cognitive skills, improve their focus and concentration, and strengthen their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
