Purpose: To show documentation of research and the steps you took in your inquiry.
Format: Google slides (provided by your teacher)
Content: Documentation of Criterion strands A2, A3, B1, C2, C3, C4, and D1-4
A1: Introduction of the user and their needs
A2 and A3: Findings from your primary and secondary research. You can include examples with annotations. This could include
existing products that don't meet the needs of the user
images of the user's context
news reports, journal articles, etc., related to the inquiry
A4: A Design Brief (A4) that summarizes the research and outlines what needs to be created.
B2: Examples of some of your sketches
B2: Examples of your cardboard prototyping
B3: Your written justification of your final design (B3)
B3: A rendering of your final design.
C3: A digital rendering of your design, generated in Fusion 360; Include annotations of key features
C3: High quality image of your cardboard prototype
These are the minimum requirements for your site. You can include other elements into your presentation page if you wish.

You can use any software or digital tools to create the content and images.
Successful product presentation site typically have the following features:
1 single page, scrolling
Clear organization of the content into sections
High-quality images that communicate the research, design ideas, and final product
Use of elements and principles of design to organize and present information effectively
Balance of text, images, and annotations
Use a maximum of two 400mm X 800mm sheets of material
Assembled with minimum use of tools, fasteners (screws, nails, bolts), or adhesives (glue)
Be produced using either the laser cutter or CNC router
2mm corrugated cardboard
3mm MDF wood
Other materials may be used with permission of teacher
You inquiry portfolio will be a record of your documentation and research that you do for this project.
Use the document shared with you by your teacher.
Keep it up to date and complete. You will be asked to submit PDF copies of this document at regular periods during the course.
