This achievement is for the first time included in the “Collections” category of the Ukrainian Register of Records. This beauty was prepared by the second- and third-year students and a teacher of the cycle art commission under the guidance of Natalia Melenyshyn.
Petrykivka painting is a magic that captures the soul and does not let go. This boundless feeling permeates every idea of the artist Tetiana Borbelya from the village of Borsuki in the Baltics.
The first time we saw her work, we were fascinated by the way the pride of Ukrainians, Petrykivka painting, came to life. This folk painting originated in the Ukrainian village of Petrykivka. In 2013, it was inscribed on the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On 23 May 2025, folk artist Tetiana Borbela held a master class on Petrykivka painting with 3rd year students of the Balta Pedagogical Professional College.
We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to study, work and touch beauty with our hearts!
