The student council of the dormitory of the Balti Pedagogical Professional College systematically participates in the celebration of public holidays, holding events and educational hours. Through its work, the student council proves that together we are a force that cannot be overcome!
Pedagogical readings, educational hours, lessons of victory, lectures, and conferences contribute to the education of a conscious citizen, a patriot of his country, the acquisition of social experience by young people, a high culture of international relations, the formation of the need and ability to live in a civil society, spirituality and physical perfection, moral, artistic and aesthetic culture in students.
For the first time in the history of its existence, the Balta Pedagogical Professional College applied for recognition of the National Record of Ukraine. 119 creative tridents were made at the institution and on May 23, a new national achievement was announced on behalf of the National Register of Records of Ukraine in the nomination “The largest collection of tridents made in creative techniques”, which includes 119 exhibits. This achievement is for the first time included in the “Collections” category of the Ukrainian Register of Records. This beauty was prepared by the second- and third-year students and a teacher of the cycle art commission under the guidance of Natalia Melenyshyn.
During the period of martial law, the Balta Pedagogical Professional College operates offline, providing students with the opportunity to acquire truly high-quality knowledge and professional skills, forming and nurturing their Ukrainian identity. Every year, the teaching staff lives on the same wavelength as the students on key calendar dates and significant events. Today, dressed in Ukrainian embroidered shirts - an element of traditional national dress - students and teachers have become a living testament to the resilience and defiance of educators in the war.
On August 28, 2025, during a staff meeting, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Memorial Day in 2019 was established by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The date is associated with the Ilovaisk tragedy of 2014. Back then, after large-scale battles near Ilovaisk, our military were surrounded. On August 29, the military were leaving through the “green corridor,” and the Russian military fired on the “corridor.” According to official data, 366 soldiers were killed near Ilovaisk, 429 were wounded, and another 300 were taken prisoner. Today, the war continues, and our countrymen are defending the independence and territorial integrity of their homeland at the cost of their lives.
Heroes do not die, they remain in our hearts forever.
Glory to the Defenders of Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the heroes!
