BPSU Research and Development Office hosted the Gabi ng mga Mananaliksik 2023 held at the Crown Royal Hotel on January 19. The event served as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable achievements of faculty researchers across the six BPSU campuses, spanning various fields from science and technology to humanities and social sciences.
The night was filled with accolades and recognition, with one of the crowning moments being the presentation of the Outstanding Extensionist of the Year Award. This coveted honor was awarded to Dr. Loida L. Garcia, a distinguished faculty researcher from the Dinalupihan Campus, for her outstanding work entitled "Bataan Literatura, Para sa Bata, Para sa Bayan."
In addition to the individual accolades, the ceremony also recognized The Outstanding Extension Team Project 2023 award, presented to the "Long-term Research Based: Health Beyond Bar," led by the University President. This comprehensive project reflects the university's commitment to advancing research that goes beyond academic boundaries and makes a significant impact on society specifically to the lives of PDLs and their families.
University officials and esteemed faculty researchers graced the ceremony, adding a sense of camaraderie and community to the evening. The Gabi ng mga Mananaliksik 2023 not only celebrated the past achievements of the BPSU academic community but also served as a catalyst for the future of research and development within the university.
