Believing that investing in employee’s growth and professional development will lead to a stronger and unified BPSU community, Bataan Peninsula State University through the Office of Administrative Services successfully concluded its Induction and Onboarding Ceremony for newly hired employees, reflecting Dr. Ruby B. Santos-Matibag’s commitment to recognizing the dedication and valuable contribution of the faculty and staff of the university.

This momentous occasion held at Crown Royale Hotel on September 1, marks a pivotal chapter for BPSU’s workforce as 170 employees who were granted plantilla positions under the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards (ROSSS) for State Universities and Colleges, swore to carry out the responsibilities and deliverables for the attainment of the university’s goal.

The onboarding session was graced by esteemed guest speakers including the University President of Aklan State University, Dr. Emily M. Arangote and the Director of Civil Service Commission Field, Dir. Edgardo C. Cruz providing the attendees with unique insights and opportunity to delve into their vast expertise and experience as a leader and as a civil servant.

Meanwhile, one of the remarkable highlights of the event is the first-ever pinning ceremony for newly hired employees led by the University President Dr. Ruby B. Santos-Matibag, Vice President for Administration and Finance Prof. Joerald M. Gadia, Vice President for Academic Affairs Rev. Fr. Edgardo S. Sigua, and Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Services Prof. Monica B. Tanchiatco-Hipolito symbolizing the university’s formal acceptance of its new members.
