Test on 12/4 presentations before the T before Thanksgiving.

Personality portfolio project portfolio option. Personality Podcast Option If you have suggestions for ways to incorporate all of the different theorists and much of the vocab other than this portfolio, I am all ears. This project is due on your test date, 12/4. There will be no exc opportunity to turn in early for this chapter because of Thanksgiving break.

The third we will be doing a socratic seminar on personality. Please submit questions you want to tackle for possible exc points before 12/1.

We will spend the Monday looking at the Marshmellow test, reliability/validity, any defense mechanisms you have questions about, etc. Tuesday will be socratic seminar, W will be the 50 MC test

Soooo, we have some choices!

Monday: come in with questions that you have! If you have no questions, yikes.

Week of 11/25/2019

Monday: finish TEDs. Defense mechanisms! Yes, you are doing a skit! We all use these, some are healthier than others, the key is to realize what you are doing.

Tuesday: Vocab quiz on personality! Defense mechanism skits!

Wednesday: Rorschach inkblots if you have class, stop by if you have a study and need an inkblot for your portfolio (no need to make one if you are doing the podcast option). Have a great Thanksgiving!

We will be exploring abnormal (mental illnesses) and therapy for our next unit, so if you have some free time over the long weekend (or want to start diagnosing family members, no, don't do that) get started reading those 2 chapters.

Wednesday: What is personality? hw: take one Meyers Briggs Personality Test link by TH (if you don't already know your results) and one 5 Factor test. You need to screenshot all personality test results! I'm giving multiples for those of you who like a variety of results or who have a hard time with the internet. Free Five Factor test, Five factor again and a third 5 factor personality test, oh wait yet another if you had difficulties with any of these. This one has a 100 question option for the truly driven or in need of a hobby and Myers Briggs which is also available on Naviance (get your 4 letters, not just the career suggestions). PLEASE CONTINUE READING THE PERSONALITY CHAPTER. Take a break with What breed of dog are you? Which is a rather nice personality test and just as reliable and valid as the MBTI.

This chapter needs to be read fully by Monday. Please learn from the last unit and pace yourself.

Friday: keep working on getting your 50 slips, think about how to collect data. "write down a word" is going to yield awful data. "Please use one adjective to describe my personality" while showing a list of adjectives in case you have friends who don't know parts of speech...will yield better data.

Monday: can you spot the fake smile? Review the portfolio project. Eyesenck test. hw: watch crash course and go through quizlet to determine what you need to know, then answer the survey to say what you need/want to study.
