The first unit we explore together includes chapters 1+2 in the blue book -in Purple books, just chapter 1, this is called the scientific foundations of psychology. There will be no TEDs this unit. How to earn an exc point on leaves. (how to do FRQs)

Monday: 7,1,3 scavenger hunt to review and then quiz on research methods vocabulary. MC, low stress. If you are freaking out, go through the slide deck, or crash course or get psyched and know that your unit 1 vocab sheet is your study guide.

Friday: 7,1 CP day: TED talk scaffolded assignment due Monday. Test on the 24th, which is next Wednesday. if you are concerned about the stats part, here is a great study video . This test is the lowest score for a lot of people, please make sure you study for it, not cramming, but a little bit every day.

Thursday: 7,1,3 how to apply vocab and pick TED talk topics -quiz for p3 delayed till M. 7 and 1 have quiz F. Make sure you signed up with your personal email for a signupgenius account, it is fine if you don't have an account, but then you are locked in on your topic, so plan accordingly. Thanks!
HW: read your textbook, you can skim the history part, but please take handwritten notes on research methods! You have the full list of vocab in your 3 ring binder. The list is shorter than the full collection of vocab in the book. Read them all, but notes really only needed for the vocab on the sheet. These are the core terms that will/can be on the AP exam. Thanks for reading all this, hope it clarifies, if it doesn't...ask me questions. Have the research methods chapter read by next Friday. Thank you!!!
