Abstract
Parental involvement plays an important role in the development of students' academic success from the beginning of their childhood years. Therefore, this study aims to provide a better understanding of the possible impacts of parental involvement on the academic success of Grade 10 students at Bicutan Parochial School. By drawing on theoretical frameworks and empirical research, this paper explores the various influences and factors related to parental involvement, its relevance to the academic success of students, and potential strategies for parents to enhance their capabilities and skills to support their children in achieving academic success. By promoting the concept of parental involvement in school settings, this paper seeks to emphasize the significance of parental involvement and how a supportive educational environment can contribute to the overall well-being and development of Grade 10 students as they navigate their journey towards academic success.
