The Occupational Skills Development Center (OSDC) program's focus is to prepare students for the world of work. The OSDC program is a Non-Diploma track for students who have moderate disabilities. The academics are functional in nature and serve as a conduit to help students succeed in the workplace and become productive, independent, and socially appropriate adults. The purpose, mission, and vision of this program are for the students to be happy, independent, responsible members of the community, and productive workforce members. Students in the Occupational Skills Development Center (OSDC) at MPTVHS do not participate in the standardized high school curriculum, but access the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks via modified access points. The program provides real-life work experience combined with employability and independent-living skills to help young people with significant disabilities make successful transitions to productive adult life.
