Now that you have investigated a problem, researched its historical roots and posed a small yet plausible solution, it is time to write one of the last segments of this project: a vision statement.
Your vision statement should describe your community's values and aspirations and articulate an image of what you want your community to become over the next 10-20 years in the future.
Your statement should address all aspects that make up your community such as the social, cultural and economic fabric. It should be forward thinking and written in a positive, affirmative and inspirational style.
The vision statement functions like a captain steers a ship to stay the course on its journey as changes occur.
