College Visit Opportunities

Visiting colleges and connecting with an admissions representative is an important part of the college admissions process. Visits allow students to learn about the college and the college to learn more about the student and his or her level of interest in the school. A student's interest in the school is one factor that many colleges consider when choosing whether or not to admit students.

In order to support students to research schools and connect with admissions representatives, BLA hosts college visits at BLA. College visits are listed on the calendar below and students sign up for visits through Naviance.

We also encourage students to visit college campuses directly either for a day of for multiple days. Many colleges host overnight experiences for students some even provide funding for students to travel to campus. When we learn about these visit opportunities, they will be emailed out to student and posted in the announcements below.
