If you haven't quite found what you are looking for yet on this webpage I highly recommend taking a look at the Boston PIC student website. This is a great resource for students to learn about open youth employment and enrichment programs, part time job openings and gain access to resources for interview preparation and resume writing! The Mayor’s Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement (OYEA) is excited to announce that the 2023-2024 Mayor’s Youth Council application is now open!
The Mayor’s Youth Council (MYC) connects, engages, and empowers Boston’s diverse youth through government and civic participation. This program is for high school aged Boston residents who are interested in working with their peers and city officials to create positive change in their communities.

The City of Boston has started a new initiative to prepare Boston youths by providing personalized one-on-one sessions to support their career development!
All Successlink Participants are highly encouraged to stop by one of these sessions to take advantage of their work experience at their organizations.

Personalized career exploration
Mock interviews
Resume and cover letter building
Explaining the ins and outs of choosing your college majors and how that plays a role in career readiness.
