This course provides an introduction to the study of matter and energy and their inter-relationships, and continues the heavy quantitative emphasis begun in physics. It includes atomic structure and chemical bonding, chemical relationships and reactions, stoichiometric calculations, kinematics and equilibrium, solutions and acid-base chemistry, redox reactions, and nuclear chemistry in more depth and with more rigor than Chemistry 1 (meaning a heavier work load).
