This course is designed to sharpen students' problem-solving skills, enhance their understanding of formal reasoning and logical analysis, and strengthen their ability to use language and symbolic expression in meaningful ways. An emphasis is placed on the analysis of real-world problems and social issues. Students will find connections among and between quantitative relationships, and communicate their findings using a variety of formats.
