Arabic 4 Honors

Course Description

In Arabic 3, students continue developing flexibility in what they can say, write, and understand in Arabic and delve deeper into the language and cultures of the Arab World, including more complex social and cultural topics and global issues. Students solidify their ability to use verbs in the past, present, and future and continue expanding their Arabic vocabulary. The course utilizes a variety of authentic media to help students build analytical and interpretive skills, function more like native speakers of Arabic, and discuss global issues. The course focuses on using all five language skills in real-life contexts in order to build Arabic proficiency: speaking, listening, writing, reading, and cultural understanding.
