Congratulations to these students for completing reading goals in the Bucs Reading Challenge: Phabian Washington & Savannah Holloway - 50,000 words; Megan Rhodes - 100,000; Abigail Bryan - 250,000; and Brooklyn Nugent - 700,000. These staff members have also reached new goals: Coach Brotherton - 600,000 words; Mrs. Liles - 750,000; and Mrs. Weinreber has completed the challenge with 1,000,000 words! Great job Bucs!

JROTC attended Airline High School Drill Meet this past Saturday at which time the Academic Team, commanded by Joshua Dowden, placed 3rd; the Unarmed Color Guard Team commanded by Tommy Cole, placed 3rd. In the Physical Fitness category, Brianna Newman placed 1st while Luke Lewis and Amielayh-Rae Mckinney placed 3rd. Congratulations Bucs in Blue.

The lady Bucs volleyball team finished their season with a win over North Caddo last night. With 16 kills last night, Maddie Polk tied the single-season record for kills with 210 this season. Congratulations Maddie!

Student drivers try approaching the school from 3227, the road in front of the middle school, you wouldn't believe the time you will save and there's virtually no traffic up that way.
If you ride with a parent tell them to try approaching from freedom street they too will save time.
The 2025 Fall Clay Target League will begin mid- September. To register contact Mr. Koeppen for more information. Deadline to register is September 9th.
