Track tryouts are Thursday, December 4th at the track until 3:30. Bring clothes and have a ride. People trying out for field events need to talk with Coach Wilkerson or Coach Haley prior to Dec. 4th.
We are still accepting entries in the i3 Inspired Authors Competition. Please see Mrs. Ogletree in the library or send her an email if you have any questions. The deadline for entries is December 5.
The Lady of the Locket Beauty Pageant will be held on Saturday, February 7th. We'd love to have you be a part of it. Stop by Ms. Raley's Room during non class times (E-6 or E-7) to pick up an information sheet and bio form. Sign Ups will end on January 28th.
If you have anyone asking about where to go to get the forms, I am in E-6 during 1st & 2nd Blocks and E-7 the rest of the day.

SENIORS - If you owe school fees, you will receive a fee statement during 1st block this week. All fees must be paid before you will be given your cap and gown. Mid term grads, make sure to get your fees paid asap. Remember, fees are to be paid through your primary guardian's School Cash Online account.
This Friday will be a jeans day to support Haughton Police Department's annual toy drive. You can wear jeans and a flannel shirt for $5 or a toy donation. Purchase your tickets in the square by the library before school.

The Junior Optimist Club is collecting non-perishable food items for Operation Blessing from now until Thursday, Nov. 20th. There is a barrel located outside of A-201for donations. Please see Mrs. Ginn or any Junior Optimist Club member if you have questions.
Non-perishable items include: Canned goods (meat, vegetables, fruit), Peanut butter, Rice and pasta, dry cereal, oatmeal, grits, dried beans., and Ramen noodles

Congratulations to these students for completing reading goals in the Bucs Reading Challenge: Phabian Washington & Savannah Holloway - 50,000 words; Megan Rhodes - 100,000; Abigail Bryan - 250,000; and Brooklyn Nugent - 700,000. These staff members have also reached new goals: Coach Brotherton - 600,000 words; Mrs. Liles - 750,000; and Mrs. Weinreber has completed the challenge with 1,000,000 words! Great job Bucs!
