Juniors who registered and paid for Ring Ding: you need to log into Clever and then go to the Rooms app and fill out the questionnaire that has been posted from Mrs. Lewis. This is due Friday!!
Congratulations to these students who have reached their next levels in the Bucs Reading Challenge: Lily Stroupe - 800,000 words; and Abigail Bryan & Josef Manley who have finished the challenge with 1,000,000 words! Come out and watch the Big Red Buccaneer Band's Winter Guard perform at their show off this Thursday March 19th at 6 pm in the Boys Gym! Doors open at 5:30 PM! Free of charge!

If you are a junior interested in attending Boys or Girls State this summer, please sign up with Mrs. Thrash in the counselor’s office.
Tryout applications are now available for the Highsteppers dance team in Mrs. Weinreber's room B218. Tryouts are open to all grade levels. Applications are due by March 26.
ACT Day is coming up on Tuesday, March 24th. All registered 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students will participate in ACT testing here at their home school. Students who are not scheduled to test will participate in a virtual learning day and should complete assignments from home. Be sure to check your email for more information.
First Priority will meet today during your lunch shift in the kitchen side of the Family & Consumer Science building. Everyone is welcome!

Congratulations to the Haughton JROTC Raider Team. Last Friday, they competed in the NSU Demon Challenge. After completing 4 miles of events , to include a 1 mile run, push-ups, planks, orienteering, knot tying and a 2-mile ruck run, the Male-Male team of Ethan Evans and Nathan Broadway earned 1st place overall. Way to go Bucs in Blue.
Over Spring Break, HHS Marksmanship team members along with other Haughton High students represented Bossier Parish at the 4-H Northern Regional Air Rifle Championships in Grand Cane earning 1st and 2nd place overall. The first place team included: Ethan Evans, Chris Fick Emily Wood and Megan Wallace and the 2nd place team included: Sara Schomburg, Joshua Dowden, Taylor McCord and McKenzie Branch. As a result, the 1st and 2nd place teams have qualified for the State Championships in April. Way to go Bucs.
