Interdisciplinary Program Structure

Interdisciplinary Program Structure

At Boise State University, interdisciplinary graduate programs are those that cross boundaries and involve faculty members from more than one program. The PhD in Computing brings together faculty members from the departments of Biological Sciences, Business and Economics, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Geosciences, Human-Environment Systems, Materials Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and Physics. We encourage students to utilize the broad range of resources and opportunities this interdisciplinary structure makes possible. Faculty from all of these programs make up the governing body for the Ph.D. in Computing.Â
