Local 152 Plumbers & Pipefitters
Local 152 Plumbers & Pipefitters is excited to offer scheduled one-hour group tours through the school day, at our Training Facility (located at 100 Richard Street, Morgantown, WV 26505)
On Friday, November 14th we invite your high school juniors and/or seniors to tour and learn about what the Plumbers & Pipefitters do and what a career in this line of work could look like. We will explain how the apprenticeship works, including on the job training. No previous experience is required.

Marshall University School of Pharmacy's upcoming Fall Preview Day!
During this half-day event, we encourage high school and college undergraduate students to tour our state-of-the-art facility, meet our friendly faculty and staff, and see how we do things differently here at Marshall.
From taking part in a simulation of our flipped classroom, discovering the many career options in pharmacy, gaining a better understanding of our admissions process, and hands-on learning in a compounding lab, students can get a feel for what it’s like being a professional student at MUSOP.

Marshall University Cyber Experience
We are excited to invite your high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to the Marshall University Cyber Experience, taking place on Wednesday, October 8th, from 8:00am to 12:30pm at Marshall University.
This event is designed for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are curious about a career in cyber or aren't sure where they fit in quite yet. At this event, students will have the chance to:
Check in at the Memorial Student Center (1 John Marshall Dr. Huntington, WV 25755), where our staff and student volunteers will guide them through the day's activities.
Participate in hands-on demos using tools and techniques taught in our cyber forensics and cybersecurity classes.
Explore our state-of-the-art labs, including our Security Operations Center (SOC) Lab and digital forensics labs.
Take part in a tour of campus provided by Marshall's Recruitment team.
Apply to Marshall on-site, free of charge (application fee waived for attendees).
For this event, we ask that students bring a laptop for the activities. If they are unable to, please let us know in advance so we can make accommodations.

WVU Medicine Center for Nursing Education
The WVU Medicine Center for Nursing Education is a state-of-the-art, hospital-based nursing school and registered nursing diploma program housed at the WVU Innovation Corporation.
Students enrolled in the 21-month program will be provided a full tuition waiver, free books, and extensive support services in exchange for a three-year bedside employment commitment at a WVU Medicine hospital.
The program features one-on-one academic support services and intensive clinical experiences to prepare students for nursing program success and an easy transition into nursing practice.
To be eligible for the program, students must have successfully completed high school or college level courses with a grade of “C” better in chemistry, English, and algebra, prior to starting the program. Additionally, a minimum cumulative high school and college GPA of 2.5 is required. If an applicant’s GPA is below 2.5, they may submit an admission exemption form and supporting documentation for consideration. All high school and college transcripts are also required as part of the application
EMORY UNIVERSITY, Atlanta, Georgia
Launching in fall 2026, Emory Advantage Plus is a major expansion of Emory University’s longstanding commitment to making a preeminent education more attainable for talented students.
Undergraduate students whose families earn $200,000 or less will pay $0 tuition to attend Emory University starting in fall 2026.
All new and returning students who are eligible for need-based aid will be considered for the Emory Advantage Plus program.
Emory will also continue to meet 100% of demonstrated need for all domestic undergraduate students.
Over the next four years, Emory’s undergraduate financial aid commitment will exceed $1 billion.
