Early Applications for the impact-driven, four-year, full-tuition Cameron Impact Scholarship are due on MAY 21 for the CLASS OF 2026.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is impact-driven and open to all applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, religion, sexual orientation or any other background factors. Integrity, intelligence, motivation, work ethic, and willingness to serve others are the strongest indicators of a worthy educational investment.
Fairmont State University - $1,000 Housing Scholarship! Must be accepted into and registered for the FSU Marching Band by July 22, 2025.

WV Pumpkin Festival Scholarship - The West Virginia Pumpkin Festival is proud to offer three (3) scholarships for any graduating senior in West Virginia. Two (2) $2,000 scholarships for those entering a West Virginia Public college and/or university and one (1) $1,000 scholarship in career/technology training in a West Virginia Public career and technology school in 2025. Deadline: April 15, 2025
Westover Community Association James L. Moats Memorial Freshman Scholarship - Scholarship amount: $1500.00.

Monongalia County Bar Association - The Monongalia County Bar Association is pleased to announce that it will award five scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000.00, to graduating high school seniors in Monongalia County. We hope that you will encourage members of the Class of 2025 to submit applications. Please note, however, that students are not eligible for our scholarships if they have a parent, step-parent, grandparent, or guardian, who is a West Virginia lawyer. Deadline: March 25, 2025.

The Community Foundation of Fayette County, PA - The Community Foundation of Fayette County offers around 50 scholarship opportunities for students pursuing post-secondary education. Scholarship applications are submitted online. Deadlines: May 9, 2025
YCF Scholarships - YCF offers a variety of scholarships to help students acquire a post-secondary education. Some scholarships are designated for graduating seniors of certain schools or those who reside in certain counties. Others are awarded for specific fields of study such as music, veterinary practice or engineering. Currently, most scholarships are based in part on financial need, academic achievement, and leadership qualities. Carefully read the criteria listed with each scholarship below. 2024-2025 Albert Yanni Scholarship Application
This scholarship provides high-quality career and technical education (CTE) students with an opportunity to pursue advanced education and/or training related to their career aspirations. A one-time scholarship of $2,000.00 will be awarded to students selected by a committee of West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) personnel. Applicants must complete the Albert Yanni Scholarship Application form. All applications will be scored on an academic eligibility form and the submission of a video about what CTE has taught them. A copy of the Academic Eligibility form can be found here. Applicants that are selected must present proof that they have maintained their eligibility requirements before awards are presented. Senior of the Month/Year Awards
The Morgantown Lodge is excited to be able to launch this program to recognize outstanding high school seniors in area public schools.
We will provide monthly $50 scholarships (November through May this academic year) to one senior from each of the area public high schools: Morgantown, University, Clay Battelle and Preston County.
In addition, one $200 scholarship will be awarded to one of the 24 students at our Spring Awards Banquet and the top two recipients of the 24 from the year will be selected as our Senior of the Year and are forwarded on to the District level, becoming eligible to receive an additional $1,750.

The deadline for the Senior of the Month Application is the 15th of each month. The finished applications can be sent by mail or to the Morgantown Elks Lodge 411, located at 1138 Chestnut Ridge Road. The applications must be received or postmarked prior to the 15th of each month, November through April, so that we may judge the applicants and forward our local winners to the West Virginia Elks Association for further consideration.

WVU CLIMB HIGHER SCHOLARSHIPS
Students are automatically considered for Climb Higher scholarships upon admission to WVU.
The WVU University Merit Scholarship awards full tuition to students who take the PSAT/NMSQT as a high school junior and are named a National Merit or Achievement Semifinalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. To receive the scholarship at WVU, finalists must select WVU as their first choice.
How admitted WVU students can update the GPA for scholarship consideration.
The GPA is not automatically updated if a student or school sends a new transcript.
Students must submit the GPA Update Request form to request an evaluation if a change has occurred.
The Office of Admissions will not recalculate GPA; an evaluation requires an updated calculation reported on the high school transcript. An unofficial copy can be used.
Deadline for GPA adjustments and scholarship consideration is June 1. Additional information can be found here.
The Jefferson Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate excellence and exceptional potential in the areas of leadership, scholarship, and engaged citizenship. Recipients receive the entire cost of attendance at the University of Virginia and many supplemental enrichment experiences—a value of nearly $364,000. Open to incoming freshmen of any major, the Lyceum Scholars Program uses a great books approach to studying the moral, political and economic foundations of a free society. All Lyceum Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship disbursed over their four years at Clemson University.
Those interested in becoming Lyceum Scholars should apply to the Lyceum Scholars Program in their senior year of high school and separately to Clemson University. The Lyceum Scholars Program application for students entering college in Fall 2025 is now open.

Eligibility
Scholarship open to all Graduating Class of 2025 WV High School Seniors
Cumulative 3.00 GPA
Applicants must complete a D&E admissions application.
Application
Applications accepted through November 17, 2024.
Application includes a section on activities and volunteer work.
Applicants will be required to submit an essay of between 500-1,500 words based on the topic: “If you receive this scholarship, how will you pay it forward to the state of West Virginia?”
Selection
Scholarship finalists will be chosen by a scholarship selection committee based on essay and activities submission. Top candidates will be interviewed. Scholarship winner will be announced by December 12, 2024.
Scholarship finalists must be admitted to D&E prior to being selected for an interview.
The West Virginia Nursery and Landscape Association offers a scholarship in the amount full-tuition reimbursement for two years to graduating West Virginia high school seniors accepted in the Horticulture or Landscape Architecture Programs at West Virginia University’s Davis College for Arts and Sciences.
Recipients will receive full tuition reimbursement for four semesters while maintaining a cumulative 3.0 GPA with full credits in either the Landscape Architecture or Horticultural Programs.

Denison's Midwest Initiative
The Midwest Initiative, which guarantees admitted students from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia a $100,000 scholarship — $25,000 per year over four years. Interested students who want to apply to Denison — we require no separate scholarship application, no fee to apply for admission, and no supplemental essay. Students simply must apply by December 1 to receive the scholarship.
Students can learn more about Denison by scheduling a visit and by completing an admission interview. As you know, an admission interview is a great opportunity for students to learn more about Denison and to share about their high school experience. Although we do not require an interview, many successful applicants choose to complete one, and they are highly encouraged.
Reagan Leadership Program - Eureka College, a small liberal arts college in central Illinois, offers diverse academic programs, international experiences, internships, Greek life, campus clubs, and Division III athletics.
Each year, we award four-year tuition scholarships to four students through the RLP. This program includes:
- An international travel experience (recent destinations include Spain and Ireland; next year’s is Sweden)
- A fully funded mentorship experience (abroad or domestic)
- Peer and professional collaboration and networking
- Hands-on leadership training
To be eligible, students need a minimum 3.30 high school GPA and must apply and be accepted to Eureka College. Qualified students will be invited to participate in one of two scholarship competitions this fall:
- Virtual Competition: Saturday, October 19 (via Zoom) – For students outside IL, IN, IA, WI, and MO.
- On-Campus Competition: Saturday, November 9 – Open to all.
The American Legion is hosting the 86th Annual National High School Oratorical Scholarship Program
