New Student Information
Welcome to University High School!
Below, you will find important information for new students, including links to our daily schedules, how our block schedule works, and lunch schedules!
UHS operates on a block schedule, with students completing eight classes per year. Students attend odd-numbered periods on Odd days (1, 3, 5, 7) and even-numbered periods on Even days (2, 4, 6, 8). Thus, students have four classes and Advisory (or homeroom) every day.
Classes last 85 minutes, and Advisory lasts 39 minutes.
There are three lunches, which are based on a student's 5th or 6th period class. (Note, a student may have different lunches on Odd days versus Even days.) To see where your lunch falls, check out the lunch schedule in the links below.
Students may enter the building at 7:00, and 1st/2nd period begins at 7:20. Students are dismissed at 2:30pm.
