Class of 2012

Fall 2011 - $4,300 donated to First Book Long Island. Over 2,000 books donated to local elementary schools. The students hosted Llama Llama Red Pajama Day at school to combat illiteracy, a read aloud at Barnes and Noble, and Mepham's first Book Wars competition. The students also had the opportunity to work with first graders in a local district on various reading activities.

Spring 2012 - $800 raised for the Special Olympics. The students took a hands on approach in the spring of 2012 volunteering at two Special Olympics events on Long Island as well as visiting the Association for Children with Down Syndrome.
