Autism Speaks

Fall 2010 - In the fall of 2010, the Class of 2011 worked closely with Autism Speaks raising both funds and awareness for this incredible cause. The students participated in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Jones Beach, hosted Mepham's first Penny Wars competition, and the most successful Battle of the Classes to date. In total they raised $11, 200 for Autism Speaks. They also were awarded 1st place in Cablevision's Charity Champions competition and the School Spirit Award from Autism Speaks.

The Wounded Warrior Project

Spring 2011 - In the spring, the Class of 2011 donated their service efforts to the Wounded Warrior Project. They hosted a Comic's for Courage show at Mepham High School as well as Mepham's first Senior Field Day in order to raise over $8,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.
