Before completing any forms, you must fill out a Registration Request. Requests are reviewed every regular school day (Monday through Friday), and you will usually receive a response within 24-48 hours, if not sooner. For example, if you submit a request on a Friday, you will likely get a response by the following Monday.
A registration request allows us to initially verify that you live in Bloomfield (required) and it creates a new record in our system for your child. Our response is sent to the email address you provide on the form, so make sure you use an email address that is active and that you can access.
When approved, the email will contain directions for creating a Parent Portal account (if you don't have one already) and two pieces of information you need to add your child to your account: 1) an Access ID and 2) an Access Password. The Access ID and Password are ONLY used to connect your account to your child's account. This is not your account username/password, nor is it your child's account username/password. These two items are only used to CONNECT your accounts. Parent Portal directions are available on the next help page.
If you are registering more than one child, you must complete a separate registration request for each child.
Helpful tip: do NOT fill out a Registration Request unless you have all of the documents completed and, if needed, scanned. All of your documents should be saved to a drive. You will not be able to complete the registration forms without the documents.
Important Note: Remember this is a REQUEST to register, not the registration itself. Once your request is approved, you will be able to create a parent account or add a student to an existing account and then complete the online registration forms.
Please note: only use enrollment forms to initially register a student. If you have a change of address, phone number, or contacts please use the Information Update form on the General tab.
