Implement a YES Day as a reward for all the respect and responsibility shown in OSHC. Children are able to spend their nomination coins on a variety of prizes. Was successfully trialled in 2025 January holidays, next step to embed into practice.
Reflecting on our use of the values system in OSHC, we as educators saw an oppurtunity to further expand our system to including a third R to continue to develop better people at our OSHC. We hope to see an increase in wellbeing with our addition of resilience into our program and language as reflected by ther research done by 'The Resilience Project' which shows a strong correlation between resilience, practices of mindfulness, gratitude and empathy with an increase in childrens' wellbeing.
