Quality Improvement Plan

We acknowledge and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the First Nations people of Australia and that they are the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waterways throughout our country.

Black Forest Primary School is on Kaurna land. We pay our respects to the Kaurna people and to the Elders both past, present and emerging.

This site illustrates just some of our strengths and outlines our plans for continuous improvement as we seek to be a progressive and reflective service.

We use our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and self-assessment as educational tools for our new educators, and to prompt and scaffold reflection and service development.

Our service uses Seesaw as our main communication link with families. We share documentation of children's time at OSHC plus updates and news. After enrolling, we send you a link to join our OSHC "classrooms".

We also use Facebook and Instagram to share news, include information in the school newsletter and have a page on the school website.

Our new families are invited for an enrolment visit before attending, so that parents and children become familiar with our space and people. New family? Please contact us to book an enrolment visit.

At the visit, we link families with the online system "FullyBooked" to manage their accounts and bookings. Families can make routine and casual bookings.
