These gatherings are open to students, faculty, and the community. Come make memories, share in the joy, and be part of our extended theatrical family!

Get into the holiday spirit with us as we kick off the Christmas season with our Little Women Tree Trimming Party! Inspired by the warmth and charm of the March home, this gathering is all about community, creativity, and cheer.
We’ll be decorating the YFAC garlands, ornaments, lights, and handmade crafts—many inspired by the 1860s, the era in which Little Women is set. Whether you love to decorate, craft, or just want to enjoy the atmosphere, all are welcome to join in. Hot cocoa, cookies, and holiday music will set the mood, and there will be plenty of opportunities for photos, laughter, and connection.
Bring a friend, wear something cozy, and help us turn our shared space into a festive tribute to the world of Louisa May Alcott.
[A GOOGLE FORM LINK for RSVP will be here soon!]
Date & Time: Friday, November 14th
Location: Ylvisaker Fine Arts Center Gallery
In the spirit of 19th-century holiday traditions, our second weekend of performances features a special collaboration between the Theatre and Music Departments: a Victorian Caroling Party!
Join us before the evening show for a musical celebration that transports you back in time. Sing along with carolers dressed in period costume as they perform classic Victorian-era Christmas songs throughout the building. Guests can enjoy mulled cider, sweet treats, and festive decor inspired by the world of Little Women (as put up in our previous event!).
Whether you come in costume or just in good cheer, you’ll be swept up in the nostalgic charm of a bygone era. It’s a perfect pre-show experience—or a lovely way to enjoy the Christmas season even if you’re not attending the play that night.
