Here's what's happening this March in Music:

March is Women's History Month!

Let's celebrate with one of the first identifiable composers in the history of Western music:

Concerts

Performing in a concert fulfills the NJ State Standards Performance requirements, not to mention is a ton of fun! We sent those dates to you in October and updates throughout the year can be found here.

Our next concerts will be:

Grades 1 & 2 Musical
Performance date: March 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Snow date: March 12th at 2:00 p.m.

Grades 3 & 4 Concert
Featuring: 3rd & 4th Grade Musical with 3rd Grade Recorders, 4th Grade Band, and 4th Grade Dance Presentation
Performance date: April 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Preschool & Kindergarten

Our Preschool and Kindergarten classes are enjoying learning new songs each Music Class. We also like to incorporate dance and movement in every lesson!

1st & 2nd Grades:

First and second grade are having a blast preparing for our "Barnyard Moosical" Concert! Our talented students will be appearing at 2:00 p.m. on March 11th.

3rd & 4th Grades:

Our third and fourth graders are preparing a new musical entitled, "Whither Be the Notes?" for their upcoming concert on April 1st at 2:00. We can't wait to show you what we've been doing in Music Class!

5th & 6th Grades:

The upperclassmen will test their music trivia this month as we start an in-class tournament called "Music Basketball"!

A note from Ms. Pasculli:

This month I have tickets to see the opera "Madama Butterfly" at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City! My nephew will be attending this opera with me, and this will be his first opera experience. I'm excited to see his reaction!

Music Resources for Home:

I encourage your child to explore the links to my website (below) and spend some time enjoying Music at home. 3rd Grade recorder players and 5th & 6th graders are encouraged to practice their instrument/concert music at home using their Music Google Classroom resources.
