Monthly MUSIC Newsletter

What a great year in Music! I hope you will continue to sing and make music this summer!

Concerts

Every grade had at least one concert this year. This fulfills the NJ State Standards Performance requirements, not to mention was a ton of fun!

Preschool & Kindergarten

Our Preschool and Kindergarten are preparing their songs for our end of the year celebrations: The Preschool Graduation/Moving-up Ceremony will be on June 10th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

The Kindergarten will have their first Music Concert as part of their Moving Up Ceremony on June 4th at 9:15 a.m.! We are so excited to show you what we have learned this year!

1st & 2nd Grades:

Our "Barnyard Moosical" Concert on 3/11/26 was a blast! I had so much fun singing and dancing with you all year long!

3rd Grade:

Congratulations on your new instrument and on an amazing concert on 4/1/26! I really enjoyed watching your progress on the recorder this year!

4th Grade:

Instruments of the orchestra, note names, boomwhackers, and more! What a year in Music which concluded with an amazing concert on 4/1/26!

5th & 6th Grades:

We learned so much in Music Class: ukuleles, chimes, xylophones, music history, etc.!

-5th Grade Halloween Performance: The Addams Family on xylophones, glockenspiels, and Orff Instruments.

-The 6th grade Chimes Ensembles prepared a special holiday video presentation during Music Class: 6th Grade Holiday Chimes Video Presentation

Congratulations to the 6th Grade Drama Bears for two fabulous productions: "Humbug!" on 12/10/25 and "Broadway Beat" on 4/30/26!

And our 5th grade Choir Bears started our year with festive holiday songs at our Winter Concert on 12/10/25 and produced beautiful music to end the year on a high note at our Spring Ensemble Concert on 5/27/26!

A note from Ms. Pasculli:

Thank you to all our amazing BES students for sharing your talents, love of music, and smiles with me! What a wonderful year we had in Music. I feel so lucky to be your Music Teacher. I will miss you this summer but I am looking forward to making music with you very soon!

For the summer:

I encourage your child to explore the links to my website (below) and spend some time enjoying Music at home. 3rd Grade recorder players and 5th & 6th graders are encouraged to practice their instrument/concert music at home using their Music Google Classroom resources.
