Special Educational Needs (SEN) Information

Mrs Catherine Roff, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (also known as the SENCO), and her working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

You can make an appointment via the school office. Alternatively, her email address is roff@bithambrook.wilts.sch.uk .

The SEN Governor is Mrs Rachael Hodges. You can contact her via the main school email address, which is admin@bithambrook.wilts.sch.uk

There are two categories of Special Educational Needs:

  • children who have a statutory Education Health Care Plan (EHCP);

  • children who are on SEN support.

Children who are on SEN support will have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and may also have a non statutory My Support Plan.

Children with a statutory Education Health Care Plan and non statutory My Support Plan will have an annual review with the class teacher or Teaching Assistant, SENCO and other professionals involved with the child. All Individual Education Plans will be reviewed every term by the class teacher, parents and sometimes the SENCO.
