Bitham Brook follows the ‘Letters and Sounds’ phonics programme. We teach children phonics from Reception through to the end of year 2. Some children will also continue to learn phonics in Key Stage Two. Below are a couple of websites that you can visit to hear how each phoneme or sound is correctly pronounced. This may help you with any phonics activities that are currently being sent home as part of your child’s home learning.
