Admission

We follow Wiltshire Council’s policy to admit children in the September before they reach their fifth birthday. Parents have the right to delay admission up to their child’s fifth birthday. Applications must be received at County Hall by the closing dates specified on the application form. Offer of a place is subject to applications not exceeding places available. The school’s admission policy is available upon request.
All applicants need to complete an application form (available from the school or downloadable from www.wiltshire.gov.uk and send it to the Admissions Team at County Hall. It is Wiltshire Council and not the school who decides on admission.
Starting School in September 2020
If your child will be 4 years old before September 2020, you will need to apply for a school place for September 2020 to Wiltshire Council by noon on 15th January 2020. Please apply online by visiting www.wiltshire.gov.uk and searching for 'applying for a school place'.
Prospective parents and children are welcome to visit the school. We organise Open Mornings for Foundation Stage Two applicants and our next Open Morning will be on Friday 15th November 2019 at 9.15 am. Please ring 01373 and speak to the school office staff if you would like to come along.
Transfer
Parents wishing to transfer their child to Bitham Brook from their existing school should complete a transfer form (available from schools or downloadable from www.wiltshire.gov.uk and ask the headteacher of their child’s current school to sign it to say that they agree to the transfer. We would always strongly urge parents to discuss any proposed transfer with their current school before proceeding. The form should then be sent to the Admissions Team at Wiltshire Council.
